This weekend I created some more beautiful home decor with Chalk Couture ink.
I made 2 candle votive holders from some jars I had saved, 4 coasters, and a pretty dishcloth.
These 2 jars contained mushrooms in brine.
The mushrooms made a wonderful additions to our roast. When I was done with the jars and they were washed and ready to go into the recycle bin I had an idea.
I thought these would make wonderful little candle holders.
So, I got out my Chalk Couture ink and transfer and went to work.
I applied a shell transfer and a starfish and used white and teal ink.
I then baked the jars for 30 minutes at 350 F in my oven to set the paint.
I further decorated the jars with some hemp around the top and a shell decoration.
I really love how they turned out.
Next up was a plain grey dishcloth.
I had washed and ironed this dishcloth before applying my ink design.
The pineapples came first. I thought an ombre` design would look cute
After I dried the the pineapples I heat set them with my heat set tool,
300 F for 30 seconds front and back of the cloth.
I then added the "Mama's Kitchen" phrase and repeated the process of drying and heat setting it.
The coasters are so easy and quick to make.
These can be purchased at any hardware store.
Just look for tumbled marble tiles.
Add desired Chalk Couture design and ink and bake in the oven just like the jars, 350 F for 30 minutes.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
