Unfortunately I have more medical issues and it will be a little bit longer till I can get back into the card making fun again.
Meanwhile my pets are keeping me company and keeping my spirits up like one of my new birds ,his name is Momo and he is the sweetest little guy. I thought you all might like to see a picture. He is so pretty and smart and in the first picture he is listening to me talk to him. He comes on my hand and really has gotten attached to me. I love him he is so sweet and perky.
Hope you like the pics and if you all don't mind saying a little prayer for me that would be really great.

I bought the GinaK Holiday Cheer stamp tv kit and I just love it. I made a couple of Christmas card sets for friends who helped us out while I was in the hospital. Here are only 2 that I made .

I embossed both images , the deer with white glitter embossing powder and the trees with clear detail embossing powder and I sponged blue around it.

Well, I am finally up to making cards again . It feels like forever but I made a cute but simple one with an image that will be released tomorrow over at Dustin Pike's blog right HERE .

The images are called Mistle Toads and are adorable.

Thanks so much for all the well wishes here on my blog I really appreciate it.

I am getting better every day a bit more and hope I will be back on my feet again soon.
Here is a picture of what my sweet family in Germany sent to me .
The flowers are so beautiful and really cheered me up.

Off to have surgery..........

I have been busy preparing for my surgery and really had NO time to play in the last few days.


The card on the bottom was created a few weeks ago and I sent it to a dear friend and she just loved it.


Wish me luck and I hope my recovery will be speedy so I can get back into making cards :0)

My husband made me soooo HAPPY :0)
Since it is my birthday this month he bought me a CRICUT personal cutting machine.
It is awesome and I just love it and look I made my first card with it .

Fall is in the air...........

I have been making some cards to send to my mother-in-law, so she don't have to buy any Thanksgiving cards.
Here are some I made so far for her.
I used the GinaK signs of Autumn tv set and several different paper assortments.

Halloween sneak peek

Something very simple today.
I used my SU punches and stamps for this card and my cricut.
The paper I used it digital paper and it worked so great with this card.

Outer Banks Vacation Pictures :0)

We all LOVED Jason's Restaurant and Jason got a t-shirt from this place . It's not much to look at but the food is fantastic.

We are back :0)

We went on a well deserved vacation for 7 days to the Outer Banks in NC.
It was our very first family vacation and Jason and I have been married for almost 17 years now, so this was very special.
I will have lots of pictures to come :0)

Signs of Autumn Purse

My friend Lisa gave me the instructions to a wonderful tutorial that makes a purse that fits the 5.5 x 4.25 cards perfectly. You can purchase the tutorial HERE (scroll down).

I have made this purse with the signs of Autumn tv stamp kit by Gina K.

It turned out beautiful and I will fill it with cards and send it to my Mother -in law.

My sweet hubby gave me some early b-day presents so I got me the new GinaK 'signs of Autumn' tv stamp kit and I really love it.


Here is my first card I made with it ....

I made a card today for the Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge SC 241 and had lots of fun with this one :0)

I used a GinaK designs stamp for the flower and the sentiment is from Hampton Arts.

The paper is from one of my favorite places online called gotta pixel and it is digital paper.

I love digital paper cause I can literally match it with whatever project I am working on.

Sneak Peek Happy Halloween :0)

Here is a sneak peek of what you will see on Dustin Pikes blog on Thur. as new released images. I used different things on this card, like polymer clay candy corn, my dots embossing folder, crystal lacquer for the brew (click on the pictures to enlarge and it is visible) and also some nestabilities by Spellbinder.I cut out the little bats and made them 3D.

Let it Snow......

I finally got my card finished :0)

I tried my hand on a TRI-shutter card and thought it turned out really pretty. This is my first TRI-shutter card and I love the concept.
I hand beaded 7 pretty different color snowflakes for this one and used tons of glitter.
The card looks so much nicer in person the pictures just don't do it justice.

Snowflake Card in the making

I am in the process of making a pretty snowflake card but have not decided how I will arrange it.

As I mention in my profile I also LOVE beading and have beaded some snowflakes for this card.

Seak Peek Christmas in July

It's Christmas in July over at Dustin Pike's blog where there will be a brand new realease of Christmas images this Thur.
There are some darling images and I picked one that I fell on love with right away (it's good to be a DT :0) ).
So here is what I have created this week and hope you all like it.

Sizzix Bigz XL ...oh yeah it's BIG :0)

Be prepared I am going to shout now ...LOL.... I GOT MY SIZZIX BIGZ XL SCALLOP CARD DIE AND LOVE IT!!!! ... ok you can take your fingers out of your ears now I am done.
I was really waiting for this die and it is FANTASTIC.

I made a card right away yesterday and used a lovely stamp from GinaK Designs, isn't the iris pretty. I colored it ....yeah you guess it ...with prismacolor pencils and OMS.

I also used some very pretty digital paper from Julie Marie Designs and you can find the paper at Gotta Pixel, if you are interested.
Some ribbon and crystals finished the card off .

Sneak Peek ...

So Dustin gave us a whole bunch of images for this Thur. new release and I wanted to do something else besides a card, so I picked this image and made a criss cross box filled with cocoa and marshmallows. Of course you can get the images at Dustin Pikes blog this Thur. right HERE. I love this weeks images and I know you will too.

The tutorial for this cute criss cross box is available at Vicki's blog right HERE and she has many more FANTASTIC tutorials.

I am hoping you can make out some of the glitter I put on the snowflakes and of course some crystals on the corners.

I filled it with a bag of cocoa and then I got some mini marshmallows and filled them in a tiny bag.

I tied a bow around the bag and voila I have a little present for somebody special.

Happy 4th of July

Get Well Dragon

So today I made a Get Well Dragon and he turned out pretty cute. I used one of Dustin Pike's images and colored it with prisma color pencils and used OMS to blend.
The green pattern paper is a freebie set at GinaK forum stampTV and I love it.
I just printed it out on cardstock and matched it with some random cardstock I had.
The Get Well sentiment stamp is from Rubbernecker stamp company. I used Ice Jade from the color box chalk line to stamp it.

Magical Bella Mermaid

I had this Bella stamp and sentiment for a while now and I finally made a card with it.
I used some Crystal Lacquer on her tail and the star she is holding and lots of glitter.
I used my new spellbinder nestie dies :0) and viola a very simple and cute card came out of this.

Top Note Die fun :0)

One thing I absolutely LOVE is the top note die from Stampin Up. It is one of the BEST crafting purchases I have done so far.
Here are just some simple quilted cards I made with the top note die, some embossing folders and just some simple embellishments.

It's time again for a sneak peek of the new set of images that will be coming out by Dustin Pike tomorrow Thur.
These images are just too COOL! I hope you can see in the pictures that I made 2 of the dinos into 3D. I used prismacolor pencils and OMS to color and I made the sky with Pebbles Inc. chalk.
The volcano was first colored then I used some of my colored crystal lacquer (red) to give it a wet look. I really hope you like the new images and will go to Dustin's blog where you can go and purchase them.
Also don't forget today is freebie day at his blog and the background you see in my card is the freebie :0)... how cool is that!
